“Shelved” is a story of boy meets girl meets outdated and kind of racist anthropology book from the early 20th century. It’s a comedy, in the style of the 1960s, about a somewhat lost mid-twenty year old with no well-defined aims in life who gets carried away in an overly elaborate plan to win over the girl of his dreams.
