UCL Film & TV Society Celluloid for the Soul is all about comfort movies. Those films that bring us joy and warm our souls, that have helped us through difficult times, or even just ones that we’ve watched an embarrassing amount of times for no clear reason.
Each episode, Lydia and Dan will be introducing each other to a favourite comfort movie, and seeing if they can get the other to share their passion for the films they’ve come to love.
In episode two, they’ll be discussing campy anti-imperialist musical Bride and Prejudice, and Brief Encunter, Noel Coward’s enduring tale of forbidden love.
